I was on the search for a good hair iron for sometime until I came across the Karmin G3. At first I thought it was too expensive but after looking at some reviews I decided to try it. I have yet to put it down since I got it! The packaging with its mat (surface protection) was a surprise. The iron is easy to use and you can adjust the temperature according to you hair type up to 460•F. It is not heavy and the cord is long and rotates. The iron leaves my hair smoothe and shiny and ODORLESS! I LOVE IT, it’s totally worth the investment.

Great product! Had the Chi as well, but it does indeed heat up within 30 seconds! Heat wise, I would say it is pretty evenly distributed and does leave your hair looking more silky versus “straightener straightened”.

After reading some of the bad reviews I was a little nervous about my purchase. However, I was completely satisfied with the straightener. My hair is thick and curly, one of my daughters have thin and wavy hair and my other daughter has biracial hair. It is excellent for all three. I would recommend to anyone with any type hair.
