So.. I hate shaving. Seriously. The ingrown hairs and razor burn… I just hate it. I bought this product because I was going in for laser hair removal after purchasing a package… then Covid happened… I decided to continue my own treatments at home after some debating about waiting or not. I’m so glad I did! The cost of doing this at home vs. at a laser hair removal location is exceptional. I paid $60 for my first 6 treatments and was told it would take 18 treatments to handle my complete hair removal (a few chin stragglers). Now I’m doing face, under arms, legs, arms and bikini line for the onetime cost of this product. I decided to do one leg only to compare if it was working or not. The photos are after 4 or 5 home treatments (can’t remember exactly). This is after not shaving for about a week. You can see there are still stragglers on the treated leg, but the lack of growth in comparison to the untreated leg is considerable! I’m guessing another 5 treatments will take care of everything. I’ve read that dormant hair follicles can start growing overtime so I anticipate having to re-treat occasionally over time. My armpit hair is almost completely gone, which includes the shadow that dark hair can create under the skin; that is gone as well! My bikini line is thinning. That will take more time since the hair is thicker.
Pain: As far as pain is concerned, I’ve been using level 5 on everything and there is definitely a good little ZAP, but I got used to it. Obviously that ZAP is more sensitive around the bikini line… I have to mentally prepare a bit before going there… not gonna lie… but it’s not terrible. No watery eyes or anything. The pain is akin to waxing.
Time: Because I’m zapping all the things (well almost) this is a time consuming process. Arms, legs, underarms, face, biking line, and a small zap on each big toe, takes about 2 hours. I lay in bed and watch a movie on Saturday morning after a full exfoliating shower and shave. However, the dream of being razor-free in the future, is a motivating factor in taking the time. Also, I label the time as “self-care” so I don’t feel guilty about taking that much time to myself.
Im completely happy with this product. My daughters are getting interested in borrowing it which is awesome. I like the idea that they can do this when their younger and save themselves thousands of hours over their lifetime not shaving and doing other things. Wish I did this in my 20’s!

used all over my body, adjust setting to accommodate for more sensitive bits. My underarms no longer grow hair i used it every other day for 2 weeks…. its been 3 months since i felt anything sprouting. same with legs… I do have fair skin and dark hair, i suggest for those with more melanin, just lower the setting and use more often. I noticed the more applications the better it worked unlike traditional laser hair removal where you cannot go more often.

I had laser hair removal years ago… and it always grows back… during the pandemic I decided to give this product a try. IT IS GREAT. I have used it for one month and my facial hair is 90% less. It does not work on white hairs. As an added bonus.. I had some dark spots and raised spots on my face.. this product also took care of them… although it did not advertise as such… I would buy the laser hair remover again… much less expensive than a salon, easy to use, I did not think it was painful even on the highest setting.

Im pale and have dark hair. I have had black stubby facial hair for 10+ years. I tried to shave but it grew back within hours. Tried to bleach but the thicker hairs wouldnt take. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to use. I have had a hair on my upper lip for YEARS. Like since I was 8. I’ve always been self conscious about it and would try anything to remove it such as nair, waxing, and yes… even shaving at times😢smh. Intense Pulsed Light, also known as IPL.
Light energy from IPL is absorbed by the melanin in the hair, which then turns to heat and destroys the hair cells.
Most customers begin to notice a reduction of hair after just 3-4 treatments, with complete results after 12 treatments. However, results vary from person to person.
We recommend using your handset once a week for the first 12 weeks. After this period use your handset once a month, for 3 months or until satisfied. To maintain hairless smooth skin, use your handset once every 2 to 3 months, or as needed. There is no need to use it more than once a week, as IPL is only effective in the growing phase of your hair cycle.
You can use your handset on your entire body, including your Brazilian and face (just be sure to not get too close to your eyes).
IPL relies on melanin in the hair absorbing the light energy, and therefore IPL is not effective on very light blonde, red, or grey coloured hair.
IPL is suitable for all but the darkest skin tones. This is because the light energy may be more attracted to the pigments in the skin rather than the melanin in the hair. Refer to the skin tone chart below to see whether or not IPL is suitable for you.
You actually have to be careful when anyone claims ‘permanent’ hair removal as all forms of IPL hair removal require some maintenance, or eventually the hair will start growing back. Between treatments you should only shave when required. You should never wax, pluck, or epilate as these hair removal methods remove the entire root, which is what absorbs the light during the treatment.
No. For the safety of your skin you will need to wait at least 2 weeks after intentionally sun tanning to ensure that your skin has resumed back to a healthy state and is not sun damaged. If you are sunburnt, do not use your IPL handset as you may experience an adverse reaction.

Yes, you can. This may decrease the lifetime of the handset per user. You should also always thoroughly clean the handset after each use.
No, it isn’t necessary to wear eye protection while using our handset. Our handsets are fitted with a sensor and will not flash unless the entire window is pressed against your skin. That being said you should never try and look directly into the light as it flashes.
Cleaning of the handset is advised after each use. You can use an alcohol wipe, or any antibacterial product to clean down the handset and the light window after treatment. Ensure your handset is powered off, and not plugged in before doing so. You should then store the handset in a cool, dry place after use (once the handset is completely dry).
